WHO CAN PLAY?
In order to be eligible to play for CD TRAVEL SELECT, you must be in 4th-6th grade and reside in the Central Dauphin School District. However, there is the potential for ONE player outside of the school district. Please contact the league to discuss eligibility in these cases. ABOUT THE LEAGUE
The CD Travel Select Teams will play in the Central Penn Travel League currently run by Mechanicsburg Park and Rec with assistance on the east shore from Advanced Hoops. The league offers a ten-game season with teams from all area school districts. Games are played in the following locations: Camp Hill Sports Center, Mechanicsburg Middle School, Northern Middle School, and Advanced Hoops Training Center. The program tryouts are in October with practices starting in November. The league games run from early December to the middle of February. In recent years, the league has not offered playoffs so the CD Travel Select Program has looked for tournaments to end the season.
WHAT IS THE COST?
CD Travel Select is a cost-based program. Cost for 2022-23 Season are $250 per player.
PRACTICES
A fundamental part of the CD Travel Select Program is the practice time afforded to the players. Each team will be scheduled for 36 hours of practice (two 90-minute practices per week for 12 weeks). Practices will be held at Advanced Hoops Training Center.
